  • Write down all short-term goals
  • Be clear on your goals and commit to achieving them
  • Concentrate on what’s really important
  • Focus solely on what can be achieved over the next six weeks
  • Take into consideration what you know your world will look like
  • Control your controllable by writing down ambitious (but just-about manageable) goals to be achieved within this six-week window
  • Make sure that your goals are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timed
  • Resolve to get them all done
  • Include a healthy balance of professional and personal goals
