Regret

Regret is feeling disappointed in decisions that we have made in the past. Regret can result in fixation on these perceived mistakes, and this rumination can lead to depression.

The thing is, we would never intentionally make a poor decision. Every choice that we have ever made was based upon the information that we had at the time. Hindsight can be misleading and destructive.

Regret is a wasted emotion. Regret does not serve us. Regret does not add value to our life. Something might have happened to us in the past, and it could be the worst thing that has ever happened to us, but it's done now. We cannot change it. We can’t let that regret take away from our present moment. All we have is this moment.

Be here now.
