Panic Attacks

Panic attacks are a common problem, and manifest themselves as a severe attack of anxiety and fear which occurs suddenly, often without warning, and for no apparent reason.

People who are suffering with panic disorder experience recurring and frequent panic attacks.

Panic attacks occur because the individual’s stress system assumes that they are in danger, and realeases an adrenaline rush.

The symptoms of anxiety during a panic attack can be severe and may include: a thumping heart, chest pains, feeling faint, and pins and needles, and each panic attack usually lasts 5-10 minutes but sometimes they come in waves for up to 2 hours.
