Long-Term Goal Setting

Establish a clear vision of what it is you are trying to achieve

Clarify exactly what you want

Get as specific as possible on what your goal is

Set the date you want to have it achieved by

You can’t hit a target if you can’t see it

If your vision is clear enough, you won’t need an exact plan

You need to consciously form a habit of going in the opposite direction of procrastination

You can do this by making decisions and taking action

Long-term goals should give meaning and purpose to all that you do

Long-term planning translates itself into your daily activities so that you are proactive, you are in charge of your life, you are making happen each day the things that will enable you to fulfil your goals
