Execution of Interview

  • Have a strong opening 
  • Be confident (or give the impression that you are confident) 
  • Tell your story 
  • Make eye contact 
  • Know that they want to hire you and it is you that was chosen for the interview 
  • Make an emotional connection – emotion is power 
  • Finish strongly – conclusion should relate back to opening, and your bookends should be the strongest parts of your interview 
  • The audience will remember your last statement – make it strong 
  • Information without energy will not be retained
